🔒 Motorcraft FC1089 Fuel Tank Cap - 1 Pack Review

Based on my experience as an automotive enthusiast, I purchased this gas cap with high hopes. However, it failed to live up to my expectations. The only pro of this product was its affordable price. On the other hand, the cap's material quality was poor and it did not fit properly on my tank, resulting in fuel leaking. I had to replace it with a different brand gas cap after only a few days. I do not recommend this gas cap to anyone looking for a reliable automotive accessory.

I got this to replace the "EZ Fill" crap that came on my 2013 Ford Edge. This turned out to be suitable, the bot apparently can't remove the "EZ Fill" assembly for a mere mortal! Return / recovery after opening is not possible, the cost is too high.

I finally have the rope back. Tired of putting a cap on the roof and maybe driving without it. And those cheap Dorman universal harnesses at the parts stores are terrible. Also, after 160,000 my o-ring was pretty dry and caked up. No complaints about Motorcraft quality at Murray's O'Reilly price.
