🔩 Moultrie Powder-Coated Metal Spinner Plate and Funnel Kit - 4 Outlets Review

Metal spinner has stopped nibbling. Now they destroy the grid around the spinner that runs on the battery box. Moultrie realized this when testing the product and built the entire underbody out of armor plates.

Works great and should hold up to the critters that ate my plastic funnel. Now all I have to do is find a way to keep the raccoons and porcupines off my feeder's legs and clean up!

My 6 gallon canisters wouldn't empty with the quick release funnel and manifold that came in the can packaging, so I ordered and installed a second funnel right on the bottom of the can and seated put in a new lure and voila, the feeder is now working great.

Great product, better than original equipment. I have 2 criticisms: (1) this device must be original equipment and (2) you have to set the seconds a few seconds longer to dispense the same amount of feed with the original plastic version.

Arrived a day late but as advertised. Rebuild a bad old build to see how it would stack. The cost is the same or more than buying a new home, $42-54. I had to change the motor programmer. and spinners. Used Wild Game Motor ($10), Programmer ($24) and Moultrie Spinner ($9-17). It will be interesting to see how this new style spinner throws out the corn. This is a backup unit so I've only tested it so far.

Problem after installation. I use whole corn and the corn can get stuck between the rim of the spinner wheel and the hopper. After about a week of him whining and delivering food I had to make changes. Removed the motor assembly and added 1/4 spacers to the bottom motor. Now it doesn't get stuck, but I think it's giving out more feed and needs to be adjusted in the feed settings.

what Moultrie puts on many of their feeders. I'm giving 4 stars because this is what all Moultrie feeders should have. I have several different feeders, all with rotating plastic plates and funnels. Well, tree rats will eat them up in no time. Moultrie should know better to start with those metal funnels and rotating plates.
