Great mount for the DVR!

I bought this mount to record video out of the car and it works great. A little camera shake from road vibrations, but nothing the YouTube video stabilizer couldn't fix. Check out my video review.

GOOD - The clip holds the phone very well

GOOD - The clip holds the phone very well. - Tension angle adjustment is good. BAD - The suction cup does not suck for very long and falls off (< 1 day) - The mechanism (rotary lever/cam) to activate the suction cup is difficult to manipulate (plastic on plastic) and even comes off. SUMMARY - Time to throw out the trash can!

So easy to attach/remove to the windshield, the suction cup is very secure. Also, your phone holds up great - I'm not worried about my phone falling. read - but for the price I don't think it's better :)

Love this mount good for accessories

Love this mount. I've had several different ones over the years, but the last one had to be squeezed so hard that I cracked the LCD screen in one spot. So I will no longer buy the ones you have to stuff in your phone. This holds the phone securely in place without applying too much pressure to avoid cracking the screen. And it doesn't slip either. Highly recommended.

The only phone holder I've found where the suction cup doesn't just let go, it falls off!

Has been in the same spot on the windshield since I put it there, I have a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and it opens wide enough, has never been dropped, even on the bumpiest of all roads. ! LOVE LOVE LOVE ! I would definitely recommend it to everyone, especially travelers. ****Update 04/18 I bought this in January and it hasn't fallen off since I stuck it on my windshield in January due to temperature changes and bumpy roads, it's still hanging! LOVE IT !

Excellent windshield grip

Surprisingly firm to the windshield, can be rotated vertically or horizontally. EDIT: Since my phone isn't rubberized on the outside (Samsung Grand Prime), it slides vertically. I could probably fix this by putting tape around the edges of the holder where the orange grips are (they're plastic rather than rubber), or by putting on a rubber-like case for my phone. I haven't tried it either, but I have no doubts that they will work as well. The windshield suction cup is still surprisingly tight.

Pros: This is a screw tightening mechanism that allows the ball joint to be tightened, which keeps the phone in place. Cons: The rubber material of the suction cup is of poor quality. Over time, it degrades and actually sticks to the windshield. This made the mount almost impossible to remove if needed, and once removed it would never properly adhere to the windshield again. Also, there was this residue from worn rubber on the windshield that I had to clean off with rubbing alcohol.

everything is good and getting better

I like the concept but when I installed it in my car I noticed that the adjustment is not as convenient as I would like. It feels like the locking screw is about to break and can no longer hold the device in place. I have several machines so I will keep looking until I try these. I will update my review when I use it. Been using it for a few days and seems to be good. I can also adjust it with the locking screw tightened, but it doesn't seem to be moving on its own, at least not yet. I like the

Best car mount

This is the most useful car mount I have ever had. It fits seamlessly into an Otterbox iPhone 6s case and gives you full access to all controls. The phone rotates 90 degrees easily, but stalls on bumps. The clips are easy to manipulate when moving around, unlike the more form-fitting options, but still hold the phone very securely. The suction cup has been sitting on my windshield for months and hasn't come loose one iota. The only negative I found is that the suction cup doesn't work at all on
