Description of Mountain bike (MTB) Welt Ridge 2.0 HD 29 (2022) matt black 20" (requires final assembly)

Welt Ridge 2.0 HD - model with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 24 speed transmission with Altus rear derailleur. The well-thought-out geometry of the lightweight aluminum frame allows you to comfortably overcome obstacles on the road and, at the same time, creates a comfortable enough fit for moving around the city. The Prowheel 24/34/42T 170mm alloy crank system withstands a significant load and is optimal for intensive riding. The bike holds the road perfectly due to wide wheels with high-quality Compass W2003 2.1 tires. An excellent choice for weekend trips in city parks and in the country. Features:Diamond Shape Geometry - a modern patented technology for manufacturing aluminum frame tubes from AL6061 alloy, the tube in cross section has a similar appearance to a diamond crystal. Additional stiffening ribs provide increased frame strength, and a wide flat base surface reduces weight by reducing the pipe cross-sectional area. The wide head tube and complex cross-section pipes make the frame reliable for any operating conditions. The Hagen suspension fork has 100mm of travel and a mechanical lockout feature. The Tektro M-275 hydraulic disc brakes are responsive and provide quick and effective braking.

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The bike was delivered in a factory box, securely packed. It took an hour to assemble the bike. The rear brake disc was slightly warped. The bike is great. Good roll. The cost of the bike at the time of purchase is 26,000.

Pros
  • Great bike for walking.
Cons
  • The rear brake disc is slightly warped.

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

Pros: Fairly light, the gearbox works reasonably well for this bike. The frame is excellent, the brakes are very even. Has some cons: Transmissions sometimes shift strangely. True, I compare with the great for 200k.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

In the assembly of the bike as in the photo, no more, no less I chose between models from 20 to 40 thousand on 04/14/2023 for trips around a mixed city (bike paths are rare for me) and decided to stop at this one, as the most expensive of the selection, but at the same time, I think, the best option It would be possible to take something more "famous" 1.5 times cheaper, but judging by the reviews of master assemblers, there are very few problems with Welt, which was justified I tend to think…

Pros
  • For me, as an amateur, the pros include: + Everything arrived neatly and the bike is in perfect condition, even there is no dust + The assembly turned out to be very simple, almost everything from the store / factory is configured. The speeds switch normally, I didn’t have to adjust anything, the chain doesn’t cling, the coins don’t stick + In a couple of weeks, 25 km have been rolled along hellish city pits, slopes, sidewalks, roads, curbs, steps, in general, very harsh routes - not a single problem has appeared yet, everything jumps over confidently and does not crumble + I don’t understand the qualities of tires, but on wet surfaces it behaves quite expectedly and steadily + The brakes are responsive and it didn’t really need to be tightened out of the box (although it’s definitely necessary after operation) + The brake discs had to be loosened quite a bit so that there was no friction on the pads, I expected much more problems in this place
Cons
  • - If you don’t have a set of different hex bits at home, then it will be very difficult for you and / or you will rip off the screw heads, because there are 4 different types of them, but there is no tool included with the bike) - The front wheel bearing had to be loosened a little, because initially everything was overtightened, but this is a trifle and with two keys everything is solved in 5 minutes - Seat . Well, you get used to it in a couple of trips and in general it doesn’t even hurt and is comfortable) - A tiny minus in the pedals - they work and that's it, the grip with the sole, especially if the weather is wet, is extremely bad, but I find fault - Lacks fenders, but who needs a clean mountain bike anyway)

I considered STARK Hunter 29.2 HD (2022) as an alternative, but I chose this one because this one is lighter by a whole kilogram. (ADDED: it turned out that welt does not weigh the declared 14.8 kg, the actual weight of the assembly is 15.5 kg. And even on the box it says that the weight is 15.4 kg) But I didn’t know that Welt put Noname on their bikes, I won’t change it if there will be problems just contact the warranty in the season. If I knew that there would be such a jamb, I would have…

Pros
  • For a long time I chose a bike within 35 thousand. According to the configuration, it costs adequate money.
Cons
  • I really don’t like it when they deliberately mislead me, so I lower my rating for the discrepancy between the configuration and the one declared on the website of the exporter LLC Kant The description does not match the package. The front derailleur is a Noname, not a Shimano Tourney, it even looks different from the advertised model, not to mention it doesn't have any Shimano logos on it. For comparison, I attach a photo of what the declared switch looks like and how it is in real life. Shimano brakes, not Tektro. Tektro, judging by the reviews, is better and spare parts for them are cheaper, but I could be wrong here. I write what I heard from bloggers. So keep this fact in mind when choosing a bike. Added: The rear wheel does not hold pressure
