This is a good 3 season jacket for colder climes and a suitable all season jacket where it never gets below freezing in winter. We bought it for climates where the temperature typically hits forty degrees Fahrenheit and I think it will be fine for that. Let's assume we haven't used it and my rating is based on looking at the jacket and comparing it to our other jackets. I pre-buy a size in the off-season to fit next year.

This is a very nice winter coat and looks exactly like it is advertised. It is very warm and retains heat well. It's not so swollen that it's overwhelming. It's also quite water resistant - water collects and forms beautiful beads on the surface. It won't withstand a heavy downpour, but it's definitely enough in the rain or snow. I haven't seen this quality in a long time! I ordered a size up to get the right fit which was a bit oversized but worn the most by the coat.
