Tried on two machines, did not help.

I have tried it on two different BMW E46, one 2006 325ci convertible, the other 2004 330ci coupe. None worked. There are two connector positions, I've tried both, solid connection, no signal. I'm waiting for a response from the seller.

never mind But it's ok

I like how it plugs into the back of the original radio except I had to drill a hole in the back of the cigarette case and I still have some glitches, it's not really clear sound, good part, you can also wireless bluetooth to easily pair it with your phone. Generally this is a temporary solution until I get a good radio.

Nice thing, but the ring nut had a bad thread. The arrow on the plug points up to the fuse.

This optional adapter is the smartest thing. I plugged it into the back of my father-in-law's 2003 BMW 330Ci radio, pressed the "mode" button a few times and "AUX" appeared on the display. The sound quality is crystal clear. A few things to note: The arrow on the connector points up for the fuse on the back of the radio. I mention this because the connector can be inserted upside down. For location, I drilled a 1/16" pilot hole and then a 15/64" hole in the top right corner of the cigarette…
