Transfer large files quickly

I used to transfer photos from my Nikon Z6 using the USB cable that came with it. However, when I tried to transfer video files, the transfer was very slow. Then I started using this card reader and transferring video files became much faster.

Doesn't work with Sony XQD 120GB card

Works with 32GB card but when I try my Sony 120GB card my PC says the device is not recognized. I can access the 120GB card by plugging in my camera or another XQD reader that I bought. I gave it two stars because it works with my 32GB card.

Stops working after a month

Unfortunately in this case I got what I paid for. While this reader is cheaper than most, it's also cheaply made and stops working after about a month. I just replaced it with (XQD SD Card Reader USB3.0 Card Adapter Memory Card Reader Compatible with Sony G Series Lexar USB Mark Card Support Windows/Mac OS System). It looks a lot better and works well so far. Since it no longer works, I cannot recommend this model.

Doesn't work on Mac

I purchased this after ignoring a review that said it didn't work on a 2018 MacBook Pro because another reviewer noted that while the cable was short it worked on an iMac. Thing is, it didn't work for me on any of my Macs. 2018 MacBook Pro and 2017 iMac 27 inch. Good idea, but the card just won't mount on the Mac. Instead, I bought a Sony and it worked on my Macs right away.

Didn't work with Macbook Pro

I don't like leaving negative reviews unless something is clearly worth the time/money. This device did not work with my 2018 Macbook Pro. I ordered this product because I needed a reader for a project with a very tight deadline. I just haven't read it. I tried to save money but ended up costing me money/time. I give it 2 stars because I think the build quality is okay. No instructions, no customer support, NADA. moral of the story. Maybe going with SONY is worth the extra $20, especially when…
