I've only used them once and find they're not the most accurate. I really don't need it to eat properly. I was curious more than anything. I would buy another more expensive than these cheap ones just because of the meat listed. ADDITIONALLY, I HAVE TO GUESS THAT THE MEAT WAS REALLY TEMPERATURES AT WHICH ONLY THE WORDS WERE LISTED. I bought these to cook a turkey breast on a charcoal grill and it worked great. The turkey was perfect. I want the numbers to be full scale, but that doesn't matter. Haven't tried beef yet as I usually use a wire probe with a transmitter. However with the grill I would need a VERY long cord to wrap around in hours :) As an update they are NOT dishwasher safe!
