The adapter does not hold the ebb of the cable

I use this cable to run from the power amplifier to the speaker and there is no sound and then I try to open the adapter and I see that The red wire does not connect to the adapter. I plug it back in and screw it on, but the adapter can't hold the cable well, the cable can detach from the adapter very easily. I do not recommend this cable for professional use where someone is walking by or the cable is a bit far from the speaker and then you lose signal and get no sound.

Pros
  • Cables and connections
Cons
  • There are errors

Cheap junk! to speaker cable

The first time I connected them at home they worked perfectly. The next weekend I prepared for the wedding and tested the sound. There was no sound from the left speaker. I didn't think the cables were the problem because they were new. So I went through my system and checked my amp and cable connections. Finally I pull Mr. Dj CSMSM-25 and unscrew the connectors to look inside. The internal copper cables were so thin that they broke. These cables are junk and I just spent my money on a kit…

  • Audio cable

  • So far so good

Don't waste your money

I bought two of these cables hoping to replace the pair of shorter cables I am using. I'm a DJ and I want to be able to place my speakers more than 6 feet apart. I connected these two cables to my speakers and the only sound that came out was from my subwoofer (which doesn't use speakers). I tried resealing the plugs but couldn't get any sound out of the speakers. I replaced these cables with my original 6ft cables and my speakers worked perfectly. I'm not sure what's wrong with these cables…

Not for professional use

As others have said, 20AWG cable was used to build them and I didn't realize it until I rewired one for bridged mono. The cable is so thin that you will have to re-tin it so that the screws in the connector have enough flesh to hold onto when you pull the cable out of the Speakon connector. You really shouldn't use anything less than 16 AWG. 18 and 20 AWG aren't even rated for that length and shouldn't be used in professional grade cables at all. If you decide to buy them, expect them to heat…
