Unreliable Ignition Control System

Based on my experience, this automotive ignition part was a huge disappointment. It failed to operate properly after a couple of uses. The only positive aspect is that the programming system was easy to navigate. However, this benefit is negated by the fact that it stopped working so quickly. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and long-lasting ignition control system.

Pros
  • Highly customizable ignition control for improved engine performance.
Cons
  • Requires some technical knowledge and experience to install and use properly.

Worked great on my RM 250 2-stroke

Worked great on my RM 250. The schematic was simple and the software works great with Windows 7. I used an MSD 8232 single tower coil with it. The spark is much stronger than the original CDI box. You can literally hear the spark once you've pulled out the spark plug just by touching the engine, it's that powerful. I had to add a battery to my bike which is fine as I needed the battery for the headlight anyway.

Pros
  • replacement parts
Cons
  • old
