This board rocks! for computers and accessories

I had to return the first board because there were no standoffs or screws for the M.2 drives and MSI stupidly didn't send them to me. They wanted me to wait 3 weeks and pay for the screws that were supposed to come with the board. Spring. This board paired with an i7 or i9 10700K is absolutely and distinctly cool. It beats benchmarks and everything you throw at it loads faster, plays faster and just feels like a gaming monster. You also get a riser board that can accommodate 2m.2 drives…

I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY CALL IT DIVINE!

This motherboard has all the bells and whistles! Monitoring or adjusting CPU clock speed, memory, system fans, or RGB lighting becomes a breeze with Dragon Center software. You can either overclock in the BIOS or auto/manually adjust the system settings using the Dragon Center software in Windows. It's everything you need in one convenient place: manage CPU, RAM, RGB, fan speed, network, game modes and more! As you can see in my video/photo I included tons of RGB lighting in my case. The…

  • Ideal for a small home

Motherboard with all the bells and whistles

Replaced my Z390 Godlike with this Z490 version. In general there is little difference. It's practically the same size and layout as the Z390 version. The 6-pin PCIe power connector is now on the bottom of the board rather than in the middle, making routing the power cable much easier. I really like that the LEDs on the board are now white instead of red so they don't clash with whatever colors you might choose for your system if you're using RGB. The postcode display also comes in white with…

It's Heaven!: Motherboards

I bought one of these boards and was so amazed I put the same board on my wife's computer next week. Yes they are a bit pricey but worth every penny to me. Not only is it beautiful, but it also has all sorts of options. They've both been working flawlessly for over 8 months and I've never been able to throttle anything on this board no matter what game I've played on it. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and you won't regret it.

Beast Mode - Computer Components

I build a PC about every 5 years. I believe this justifies investing money in updating the technology. The PC/media server I built in 2015 is still a monster gaming machine, it can run most games to the max but with the new rtx graphics cards and the new VR headsets sure to follow I thought me it's time for a new car. I got this motherboard along with Intel i9-10900k and 64GB gskill ripjaw V 3600MHz RAM. It cost a fortune, I'll be eating cereal next week (or month) but THIS WILL BEAT my other…

Beast is an understatement

I didn't want to go back to MSI. I mainly used ASUS and Intel boards for gaming and number crunching. I don't care about pretty lights, so anything Mystique wants to do is fine with me. I need this for the preform. Plain and simple, if you want the best dog, this is it. This is a great MB inside

This is a great MB with some future reviews. It's a bit expensive. But I had money and was thinking about switching to a cheaper socket 1200 z490. But I think the features are worth it. Comes with an m2 NVME riser card so you can add terabytes of data without removing the heatsinks from the board. The only complaint is that it should (should have) come with spacers for the m2 storage. not mine. I had to take her somewhere else. I don't know why I didn't have enough spacers, but don't contact…

MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE

This is the only board I have. This is E-ATX, so pay attention to the case size. With the water-cooled Corsair H150i, the board is cooled to around 30 degrees; without a water cooler, the processor heats up to around 90 degrees Celsius. I like having 128MB of RAM. Remember that the center post is under the M2-1 cover, so install the cover after installing the MB. When connecting an M2 expansion card, note that one of the wires goes to the JFP1 connector and the two-wire connector that normally…

  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Does not fit all

I didn't know msi made really good MBs.

This MB is better than Maximus XII Horn and aorus extreme z490. (I sent both back). Now my i9 runs much better and copes with low temperatures. For the first time with MSI motherboard. Setup: 10900k, msi Rtx 2080ti with ekwb block, noctua(6) fan, two 40mm 360 ekwb radiators, 32gb ram 4000hz, 300ml D5 ekwb pump. Asus and Aorus need a bios update.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
