I ordered this coat in 2 colors and 2 sizes. Blue for my tall almost 4 year old (size 6) and light blue (looks almost green) for my average 6 year old (size 7/8). Size 6 fits loose and loose as expected but size 5 would be too small. Size 7/8 is perfect for an average 6 year old. I got a 7-8 for my little 7 year old and he was tall. Roll up your sleeves and wear them as outerwear. Should probably be able to use 2 years or more. The material is thick cotton, the tailoring is neat and tidy. I'd say it's more bespoke than mass produced. Unlined but good for the occasion. The only downside is that it only has frog buttons that are difficult to use. Most traditional styles of clothing have both a frog and hidden buttons for convenience.

It fits as expected. The quality is ok. It's not thick, but it's not too thin either - just right. Works fine, at least for me. The ends of the sleeves are rolled up for added color contrast, which I really like. You can roll up the ends of the sleeves next year for a slightly different look.

I intentionally bought it a few sizes larger but found it to be smaller than actual size. Not only were the buttons difficult to attach, I just gave up. It's not worth it.

Beautiful cloak for Lunar New Year and traditional wear. But very thin. Since the Lunar New Year is always in winter, it is necessary to wear warm clothes.

It worked well for my child's family heritage day at school, bright and comfortable. I bought it thinking it would hold up better than the nylon version so he could wear it all day. The color runs so I will be careful when washing.

I received the Chinese New Year costume at the last minute, the price and quality are far below my expectations. The fabric is thin and stiff, oversized. I wouldn't buy again, wearing it once I have to deal with it.

I bought one each for my 8 year old boy and 12 year old girl. They love it! Very good quality, well decorated with traditional touches but definitely not tacky. Highly recommended!

Be sure to order the correct size. He is tall. Son is almost 6 years old and he ordered 6 years old and it fits like 6/7. Covers almost 2 inches to the bottom and folded sleeves.

Very well made coat, but the size is a bit off. My grandson normally wears a size 10 but the size 10-12 I ordered was too tight for him. He was a little disappointed but was happy when I was able to order the next size up - 14. Thanks!

cute and funny My son loved wearing it. The only downside is that you have to soak and rinse before wearing, otherwise the red color will rub off the clothing underneath.

I bought size 5/6 for my 5 year old and size 7/8 for my 7 year old, both fit perfectly. Their height and weight are in the 50th percentile. A long-sleeved t-shirt fits easily underneath. I am surprised by the excellent material and quality. Super sweet! I highly recommend! :)

The shirt looks nice but the buttonholes are too small for the buttons on the clothing and won't button up. Unfortunately we need the shirt for the school festival this week, otherwise I would have returned it.

This went to my slim build 2 almost 3 year old son. Perfect for Lunar New Year family celebrations. Comfortable under a shirt and can be worn all day. Easy to wash at home, no dry cleaning required!

I think he will also be able to wear it for Lunar New Year next year as the sleeves open. The photo in this review shows the shirt compared to a size 24. I haven't washed the shirt yet so I don't know if it will shrink.

These Tang Dynasty style jackets were very well made and looked exactly like the picture. I bought one in red and one in blue. My sons wore them last month to celebrate their International Day at school. I liked that this material was durable and didn't tear throughout the day like the thinner fabrics used in other traditional Tang style outfits (made by other companies) that the boys had worn in years past.
