Works well. It is difficult to install a small nut.

This item was just what we needed to replace the broken mechanism on an old clock. The attachment is not difficult except for two points. The large nut on the dial is difficult to tighten with pliers or a wrench as it is located just below the moving hands of the watch. This allows only hand tightening, leaving the attached mechanism slightly loose. But it still works. But even more frustrating is the tiny nut that has to be screwed over the watch hands to hold them in place. It is so tiny that

The device looks great and is easy to install

The device looks great and is easy to install. The second hand works and the minute and hour hands move when the dial is used, but they do not move when running on battery power. The used pointer ticks, but nothing else works, so for me a complete letdown. EDIT I got a quick response from the company regarding possible issues that could be causing the crash. It turned out that I had screwed on the hex nut too tightly and pushed too hard in the axial direction with my second hand. I did the…

We had a watch for 32 years that eventually the digital battery mechanism failed. With a full description including the length of the hour, minute and second hands, it was easy to make sure it matched our old watch.
