Install them over the damaged ones or over the original ones and they will fit perfectly. Yes. I installed one by removing the damaged one and it dangled a bit. I prefer to leave the old ones on the controller. Hope that helps.

Really good grips I bought these to replace joystick covers as my 16 month old broke the original covers and they were very easy to install, they fit quite snug and curl Don't bother with the others the thumb grips are really great, can't wait to play Borderlands 3 to try it out

I've read other reviews and tried to figure out if I should keep the original gum but couldn't find an answer to this question. I got over it in the end as that particular controller fell off in pieces anyway! I took someone's advice and flipped the new (pink) grip over, put it on and applied a little pressure! It slipped and fits perfectly! The whole process took maybe 10 seconds. I have chosen not to clean and replace the right stick as it is still in great condition.
