The shell was made of quality metal, anti-deformation, anti-rust, sturdy and durable. 1.25 in 2x Barlow lens, fully multi-coated metal with thread connect interface for telescope eyepieces. High quality barlow lens 2x gives a big magnification boost to 1.25 '' eyepiece. The lens edges and inner barrel are black to provide maximum contrast. It is easy to use, place the eyepiece of choice in the barlow lens then insert the barlow lens into the frame.

Useless Piece of Electronics

This telescope monocular eyepiece is a complete waste of space .the quality of the optics and lenses is terrible, resulting in blurry images. Plus the build quality feels cheap and flimsy. The only good thing about it is the affordable price. However, you get what you pay for, and with this product, you're not getting much. Avoid this product and invest in a higher quality alternative..

Pros
  • Powerful magnification with clear and sharp images of celestial bodies.
Cons
  • May require additional equipment and accessories to enhance the viewing experience, which can add to the overall cost.

Perfect fit for your first Celestron oscilloscope!

This was a photo of the moon I took with my Snapchat camera, it was also a bit cloudy but a great photo. I have the first issue of the Celestron National Park Foundation and I think it's something like 76mm, I might be way off. I had the 20mm lens that came with the kit and used this Barlow to zoom in on the image. The first Celestron oscilloscope is a great first scope for beginners, and this Barlow lens, along with the correct 20mm attachment lens, produces better images than some telescopes…

Pros
  • The body is made of high quality metal, resistant to deformation and corrosion, strong and durable.
Cons
  • Long delivery
