I thought they would work for Christmas decorations, but these fairy lights last about 6 hours, maximum! And they're very short (about 3 ft each). I guess if you want to stick them in a jar for ONE dinner party, they do the trick, but I'm guessing the reason they put 20 lights in the pack is that they are absolutely geared for use and throw away.

Pros: They look lovely and are easy to wind around/place inside whatever you'd like to light. All 20 lights in the box worked when I opened it.Cons: SUPER short battery life--nowhere close to the 50 hours in the product description. These lights are beautiful and the perfect size for miniature Christmas trees, but the batteries in each string lasted only a few hours. When the cost of replacement batteries is factored in, the price of these lights more than doubles. And with my arthritis, it’s a serious hassle to open all those battery compartments and then get four tiny screws back in each one securely.

After reading these lights were 3.3 feet, I was disappointed to find they are only about a foot long but there were many sets. They looked beautiful once I wrapped about 9 sets around my grapevine Christmas tree (dining table decoration). They looked absolutely perfect… for around 14 hours, then they were all dead. Since there were 2 batteries per set, it’s not really feasible to change the batteries (would be 18 batteries) and the small screwdriver provided would make opening the battery…

I purchased these lights to decorate the table centerpieces for our business holiday party and they were just beautiful! They lasted the whole 4 hours and looked beautiful in the arrangements.

I made table center pieces using these fairly lights inside mason jars. They worked great, stayed on the entire night (8+hours), they’re bright and easy to assemble.

I paired these with some small lanterns as part of my wedding centerpieces and couldn't be happier! They lasted all 4 hours of the reception and likely have some serious life left in them. Even if I sell my centerpieces, I am keeping my lanterns!

I love them,,they are very bright and awesome.Have them all around my home but will not turn them on til Christmas Day to have them on all day ,,am sure they will use up the battery but nice to know you can get the little batteries and use them again.

I love these lights. I'm using them for individual table decorations for a wedding. Such a delicate lighting perfect for the right decoration.

Love that these lights are LED, waterproof and cool to the touch - safe for crafting with kids. The wire also stays put for costume play and DOES NOT get hot, like other lights do. Bonus is the switch to cut them on and off. Also, it was really great that the light set came with the mini screwdriver, for easy battery replacement. Great value!

Love the lights. I didn't give it 5 stars as the battery they originally came with didn't last long so I had to buy new cell batteries right away. I don't think it was on longer than 2 hrs. But great for lighting up the holidays!

I am not very happy with the lights only because some of them would not come on and the piece of paper that you have to pull it out was so far in I had to use the screw driver to open them and some did not work after.I use these lights everyday for my new business and I can not afford this. I need each light.

I tested one right away and it started to flicker on and off right away. I still need to check the others but I may return these if they are all like this.

My wife loves these. She has a string in several different colored glass jars around the living room. I would order good batteries at the same time though as after a few nights of running them 3-4 hours per nigjt they were very dim. Ordered Duracells and now they are perfect.

I used these to re-light my tabletop trees for Christmas this year. The lights are bright, but a nice soft white color. Lovely addition to the trees. Trying to figure out where else I can use them!

Great for little accent decor, replacement batteries too expensive so recommend this set and when batteries die just replace string.

I used these in so many areas- tacked to a Christmas sweater for lightup day at school for my grandson (who thought it was so cool ) used for several Christmas craft projects and added to some of my displays.
