Slightly disappointing

I bought these pudding scissors a few years ago and they worked great until recently when they started tearing my fabric. Ordered another pair and the blades jammed on first use. Sent them back and got another pair. They don't seem to be making them like they used to. The scissors aren't that easy to use, the finger grips are awkward to maneuver, and the overall quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • So So

Poor quality control

My wife had trouble opening and closing these shears after cutting some material. After inspecting the pair, it looked like there were microscopic burrs on the cutting edges and , in addition, the set screw continued to loosen. We've never seen a pair of new mundials done this way, so I'm guessing it must be a quality control issue. By the way, scissors are made in China. I really hope the company will contact us for a solution as they have not returned their calls.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Update Availability

Heavy quality sewing scissors

I'm not a professional seamstress and haven't used them for a long time but they are good, heavy and clean cut. For the right hand, the grips are made of matte black plastic and are quite comfortable. If I was cutting watches for hours I would like a big handle, I have small fingers and it fits snugly. The action is a bit gripping/resisting, but maybe all lighter scissors should be like that? I'm not an expert. But it's normal.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • No dye needed

The Mundial product should be better.

I have other Mundial scissors, some of which have been around for many years. These lighter scissors are so hard that I had to rest my hand after four or five cuts. I hope they get some break-in before they're thrown deep in the box. I will say that the cut is good, with clear, well-defined zigzags. So the result is good what I wanted in the end. I am sorry that I am not satisfied with the product.

Pros
  • Excellent for finishing spool-proof seams, decorative edges.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Of not too miserable results for me

Boo. I bought these to cut 12 x 16 rags into smaller segments. Watching them turn pink with scissors, I thought they would take out the roughness on the raw cut edges. They should. Boy was I wrong. After that, when I came out of the washing machine, I had a lot of ropes tied together with ropes. For some reason they didn't work like my Olfa Rotary Pinker on 100% cotton. And the only place they seem to meet exactly is right at the tips of the scissors. I quilt and often buy pink Moda tins forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lifetime Warranty/Made in Brazil
Cons
  • Only available in Black

Problems with the second pair bought.

I wrote a 5 star review for them in 2014 when I bought my first pair which I loved then and now. I sew in two rooms and I always had to get my sewing scissors, so I bought a second one so I have one in each room. I bought a second pair in October 2016 and they are terrible. They are dull, difficult to manipulate, and constantly stick. They will not cut through fabrics thicker than thin cotton. For example, when I try to use them, I open them to make a cut and block them before I can even make a
