Please help me: Computers and accessories

I bought this item so that I can set up WiFi anywhere. but I don't understand how to do that. Is there a universal USB receiver card that I can set up for any company's 3G service? or should I just select one USB 3g card for each carrier I use? I would rather have a card that I can set up for the best provider I can find as they are on sale. If you know of such a card, please let me know. ps cellular companies will not help. pss, it works fine as a wifi connection with ethernet attached.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • Something is wrong

It's the swiss army knife of routers

I've used it as a router, access point, with a Verizon 4g USB card, as a wireless bridge with NAT. I keep it in my laptop bag and just adjust it to whatever the situation calls for. Battery life isn't great, my laptop battery drains for about 2 hours each time.

Pros
  • Beautiful looks
Cons
  • Security

Works very well for the price!

I don't really need the cellular feature but the backup power is great. The power supply in my house is faulty, but between my UPS and this router I can stay connected to the internet even if there is a power outage.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Very expensive

Simple and reliable - very cool

What a joy to find a product that is easy to use and really solves a problem. Router administration is often made more difficult than necessary by a very poor user interface. It presented no such problem and allowed me to easily transfer photos from my Canon 5D II to my iPad while shooting (using Shuttersnitch). If you mean the same usage, please note that the transmission is far from real-time. I don't know if the blocking factor is the camera, iPad, Shuttersnitch or router, but it's just slow

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

connected USB 3g and shows no internet

I have other similar devices, I saw this and bought 3 hoping they will be everywhere but they don't work. I can't even go online. Great concept. I love that it has a backup battery, but if it doesn't work what's the use?

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Some problems
