I bought these because I always wanted ink when I needed it. I put them in my printer yesterday and my Cannon printer rejected them. I had to go to Staples and buy new ones. Which worked fine. You get what you pay for! Since I bought it over a month ago, AMAZON still hasn't given me any credit. Just spoke to Revain and they did the right thing and credited me with erroneous INKs :)

I used the color cartridge straight away and it worked, although my printer kept saying it was out of ink. Previously I didn't have to use black ink and just built it into my printer. Even after going through all the processes suggested by the manufacturer (nozzle cleaning, deep cleaning, leveling) I don't get a readable page. Very disappointed that I now have to go to Staples to buy ink.

I had doubts about remanufactured ink cartridges because the ones I got from the wholesale club weren't good. But with this kit the chip works right out of the box and my Canon Pixma MP495 prints great in black and white. The cartridge is packed in a plastic package, the chip part is well sealed. I'm guessing they also include an instruction that says you should ignore the empty cartridge warning. I think with such an affordable price it will be a great alternative to OEM cartridges.
