    A must-have accessory for Zoom recorders

    If you have a Zoom H4n, you probably know that it eats batteries. I use NiMH batteries, but that only saves buying new ones. I have a large lithium ion battery that I bought for my iPhone. This cable allows me to power Zoom for many hours without having to change batteries. I bought two. This is not a product to empathize with. But I'm glad it was available on Revain.

    works great for what i needed it for.

    Bought to power my Electron model: samples with USB portable battery and it works great. At first I thought it didn't fit, even though the power supply was the same size as the power supply that came with Model:Samples. but it took a bit of pressure and now it fits perfectly every time. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make their music system / any small 5V device portable with this adapter.

    It works as advertised!

    I bought these because the batteries on x4n are quickly empty - although it only needs 5V 1 watt. This thing is very long and I only needed a 1 foot cord, as far as I can tell you can't find it. I cut it and put 2 butt connectors and jazzed it up with my short cable. Connected it to my Anker battery in my setup with a USB port. I then removed the batteries from the h4n to see if they were actually powering the unit. Guess it works amazing and it can last all day on my Anker battery. Get it, it…

    Does NOT work with Zoom H4

    I'm giving five stars because based on the experience of others here and people I know in real life this cable works great with the Zoom H4N. However, I very foolishly accidentally read the specs and didn't realize that the voltage and plug size of the H4N and H4 are completely different. Just wanted to post this so others who are lazy like me and haven't read carefully know that this cable will NOT work with the old Zoom H4.

    Fits my Zoom H4n pro

    Very good product. Fits my Zoom H4n pro and can be used with a power bank or portable battery. I use it with an Anker portable battery pack. It stays on throughout the shoot and I don't have to worry about batteries.

    Works but H4N itself has problems using the AC adapter

    H4N has problems with loud hissing when using 1/4 jack for recording when using the AC adapter. I can't fault this cable that I bought, as far as I know it's a design flaw of the H4N. Use the built-in microphone or the external microphone input (1/8" jack on the back) with it for noise-free recordings.

    A great way to charge your zoom and never have to change AA batteries again.

    I love it! I used to use four AA batteries when recording a best quality concert with my Zoom H4n Pro, as two batteries would charge to 1/4 in about an hour (I estimated - using "meter" on Zoom) . So at break I put in a second pair of batteries, I really couldn't use this set any more "fresh" as it cost me hundreds of dollars to get a reliable record compared to the price of 4 batteries. I can't change batteries in the middle of a gig and even lose 10 seconds of audio. Now, with this cable, I…

    Finally enough power

    I ran out of battery several times at concerts or meetings. No longer! I ordered and received the USB power adapter and started using it immediately. As a videographer, I'm trying to extract clear audio from event soundbars. Sometimes using a cable isn't practical, so using the H4N for direct capture ensures clear audio on video. I don't have to worry about my batteries draining, it's just less of a headache. Worth the investment.

    It works as advertised!
