The product is not a fake, maybe from an old batch?

So, I see a lot of fake claims for this product, but mine seems perfectly legit. Came in a purple sealed Urban Decay bubble bag, the palette itself was in an Urban Decay box and my much makeup savvy daughter looked at it and authenticated so it's out of the way. BUT I can see where some people were scribbling when they got theirs. Was my palette dirty? I mean it had a little dirt on the outside or maybe some eyeshadow on the outside? I had to scrape off the logo, leaving a powdery substance onโ€ฆ

very pretty and highly pigmented

I really like the colors. Being from the Middle East I have a unique skin tone, a light olive with a slightly pink skin tone and most neutral eyeshadows just seem to fade, but this one is highly pigmented and suits my skin tone well. It doesn't wrinkle even if you don't apply primer. I love this line because it is not tested on animals. at least that's what they claim.

Sample size palette?!

much less than I expected for the price! It won't be long, but it will be good. Each paint tray weighs 0.05 oz. The photo shows how small it is, with a 4-inch measuring tape next to it and the Roku remote for comparison. I don't have a previously purchased palette to display alongside. So I hope this will help you in your decision making. Makeup is a ridiculously high return for what you actually get. And how often do you actually use the very last bits before they crumble or get stuck inโ€ฆ

Poor eyeshadow quality

I've been buying full size palettes from UD Naked every day since they came out. Every morning when I apply it with it I wonder if I've been scammed with a fake palette. I finally came here to read the reviews and I see I'm not the only one who thinks so. The darkest color was crumbling from day one. I rarely use it and (thankfully) it's completely gone now because it gets on everything and everywhere. I have to constantly correct mistakes because I had it in my hands and touched my face. I'veโ€ฆ

Gorgeous Cool Matte Palette

This is a gorgeous full matte cool palette perfect for both everyday use and travel. The formula is pigmented but is easy to apply and blends easily without becoming cloudy. Lightweight shadows with a velvety matte finish that, when layered over eye foundation, last all day without smudging or fading. There is some bulging in the pan, but brushing off the excess with a brush will eliminate the leak. The color story has enough variation to create matte colors alone or as a base for powder/liquid
