Nalgene 5977 0013 White Polypropylene Tubes: Durable and Versatile Laboratory Supplies Review

When I tried this product for my lab experiments, I was disappointed with the quality of tubes. The tubes are made of cheap material that cracked easily during normal lab procedures. While it is advertised as "Industrial and Scientific", I found it to be more suited for DIY projects.

I don't think there is much to say about this product. It came and works as described. In the past I've used it for storing blood/serum/plasma samples in 13mm tubes, but lately I've been using it for storing/drying electrophoresis glass plates. I have no complaints about either use. BUT this is the lowest price I've found for these racks as many science companies only charge extra because only a small fraction of the population is interested in them.

Very happy with it! Trying to find them at reasonable prices can be difficult as it is a niche product. They are ideal for Vacutainer tubes with an outside diameter of 13 mm. It is also suitable for use with glass test tubes. It should be noted that holes everywhere can just be an artifact of the manufacturing process, but they are very useful if you disinfect the tripod yourself.
