🚰 Nalgene 16 oz HDPE Narrow Mouth BPA-Free Water Bottle Review

My wife wanted a water bottle that would not leak in her purse. After some research, I decided that this model would work well. It doesn't leak, is easy to open and close, and is made from thick polyethylene, which means it's virtually indestructible. It's not as easy to clean as some due to the narrow neck, but that's not a problem (shake it halfway with hot, soapy water).

I have had one of these bottles for over 15 years and it has traveled the world with me. The plastic has not faded or become brittle. The neck is quite wide so filling the bottle is easy. It's small enough to fit in a large purse or one of the pockets on the outside of my backpack. Also small enough to fit in the back seat bag on the plane. After all, I lost my bottle on a recent weekend trip and there was no doubt I would order the same bottle again.

My kid couldn't get this water bottle out of his baseball backpack for about a month. I was lucky to open the bottle after it was missing and I can tell you the smell is bad but what really sucks is I've run it in the dishwasher about 5 times and it always does still smells awful, it looks like soaked plastic. smell forever! Air this bottle after each use so you don't have a smelly situation like mine, now it's probably going to be thrown away.

It's hard to find a water bottle that isn't huge! This size is perfect for a child's backpack or car etc. Less water is wasted. They are so durable! The cap with ring ensures the cap won't get lost and you can attach it to your backpack or bag. Fits in a bottle cage on the bike. Has no weird plastic taste or smell. And I like the smaller spout for easier drinking without spilling everywhere like the wide-mouth models. Easy enough to clean even with a small neck if you just get a bottle brush. I

I LOVE this water bottle! Everything I've ever hated about other water bottles is NOT in THIS water bottle! Light grip size. Strong and durable. Cannot lose or even drop the lid. Smooth edges. No plastic taste. Does not retain the taste of added flavors. You can grab anything! Fits in a pocket, backpack or purse. Cum in the door of my truck!
