So far so good, but the plastic is very hard.

It's nice to have a standard Nalgene cap that's accessorized and familiar. I put it off for a few trips. While I haven't had any real issues with it, the plastic is very hard, crunchy, and "crumples" easily compared to similar hydration bladder products. I don't see this type of plastic lasting too long with heavy use. Maybe I'm wrong? Who knows. I just find this hard to trust because of the stiffness and expect it to break eventually. I will continue to use it for water storage at base camp…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Let's face it, climbing out of a warm sleeping bag and hiding in a tent to relieve yourself isn't the pinnacle of camping in freezing temperatures. I mean it takes time to get up and out, especially if you're using an insole. Also, it takes time to regain the lost heat. For me, 48oz is the right size for nighttime developments while taking Diamox. Any less and you could be in trouble. The light weight and foldability really help to save space for pack/weight restrictions. Highly recommended for

This product is a great idea though.

I like the idea of this product. The first day I got it I filled it up and dropped it out of my backpack (I know it was my fault) and the top part holding the cap on the real bottle broke so you don't lose it . But there were no leaks, so no big deal. After a few months of use it started leaking at the seam and wet my backpack. It's just not designed for long-term use (with normal use, you can only fold and fold plastic so many times). A soft bottle with a resealable cap, and this one still…

Great alternative to the wide mouth Platypus

Great quality and roomy bag (48 oz). The large opening makes filling and emptying a breeze, which is great as these types of bottles can get pretty dirty over time. I prefer bubble bottles for travel and camping because they fold up into a smaller area when empty. I have Nalgene Wide Mouth and Platypus. Of the two, I prefer the Platy for drinking and the compact size when empty. I also like that it has a loop but holds less water. Nalgene is preferred for public filling and easy cleaning. By…

Comfortable but not durable.

This works fine, but on a long backpacking trip I got punctured on the 2nd day. faced each other. Some tape fixed the leaks for the rest of the trip. A friend on a trip had another that developed a leak at the "shoulder" of the bottle. Duct tape held everything in place. The bottom line is that they can make a great backup when traveling but need to be handled with care. Take good quality tape with you. As the only water bottle, I wouldn't rely on it. I've been on long trips where I've only…

Pros
  • Also suitable for all common water filters.

Not just for backpackers or campers

Such a brilliant design. They are flat and take up almost no space, but they hold a lot of liquid. I bought two to take with me on my trip to Iceland. I had a very strict hand luggage limit so the traditional bottle took up too much space and weight. I also plan to use it in situations where I can finish my drink and carry an empty bottle with me, e.g. B. walking through the city during the day or visiting a festival. It's a lot easier to have a boxed bottle. I used these bottles daily for…

Water Balloon with Purpose

I use this bottle on long trips. I usually prepare a small steel mug and drink filtered water from an MSR dromedary bag. However, you always want a transparent container like this, just in case. The main purpose I use this bottle for is to store filtered water and purify it from ultraviolet radiation. The filter cannot solve everything, some bacteria and germs can still pass through it. In most cases, a good filter will get the job done without a hitch, but it's always good to know what you're…
