Buffing Pads: Buffing & Buffing Pads

Love this. I'm a tough guy and these pads work great. I don't know how long they will last but they are easy to use. They really help remove small scratches. I just bought finishing pads. Let's see how long they last.

The foam backing feels too soft to hold its shape on DA

Had very high expectations for these shoes but the foam back seems to have come up short. I run them on a 3" Meg Baseplate and a Porter Cable DA. I like the surface material, however after a few minutes at high speed the foam loses its shape and doesn't spring back. The same goes for the finish liners.

Nanoskin Microbuff 6" buffing pads are high quality microfiber buffing pads. They are comparable to other brands of microfiber pads as I have tried almost all different brands. I love these pads myself love the foam pads shown here and Nanoskin also sells a pack of 12 very thin buffing pads (no pads) All have the same depth of cut, only one has about 1/3" of foam space between the velcro piece and the microfiber buffing piece that you clip against the press color.
