After adopting two new cats over the summer, I wasn't sure how they would react to the Christmas tree, so I put it on the table. It was awesome, so much so that it now sits on my desk in my bedroom with little hearts. prepare for Valentine's Day. Then I'll put some little colored eggs on it at Easter and so on for each upcoming holiday. Great, the light is just right. I added one more thing before Christmas. Wanted this tree for my porch. I thought the timer function would be great, but as you can see the tree isn't very pretty. No matter what I did, I couldn't straighten the trunk of the tree, and blowing out the branches didn't help. I don't think there are 50 lights on this tree. I'm not going to sit down and count them. This small tree is exactly as described. The flashlights are powered by a battery pack consisting of three A cell batteries and have a timer so they stay on for around 6 hours when switched on. I doubt the photo in this listing is true as my tree was proportionately smaller. The bottom 2/3 of the tree has been filled with a mix of realistically shaped branches with the usual inexpensive greenery for the shorter trunk-filling branches. However, the top 1/3 was skimpy and the top stem was wrapped in a mix of green and auburn "greens” which was distracting.
