Wider than Jefferson

We are big fans of Native shoes! However, the C7 baby size Miller feels the same as the Jefferson C6. We need to go back and get C8 or maybe even C9. I would recommend taking a size larger than usual so it fits longer. The natives stay on their feet even when they are too big.

Pros
  • They're great for busy little boys who don't take off their shoes before jumping in the mud and mud!
Cons
  • Lack of Durability: Native Shoes Girls Miller Slip-On slip-on shoes may not be very durable as the material wears out quickly, especially with frequent wear.

Use a blow dryer to stretch!

This is our second native pair. The first pair was the Jefferson, which is slightly narrower than the Miller, but using a blow dryer fixed that minor issue. My son has round, bulging feet and small puncture marks. I used a hair dryer to stretch out the tighter spots - viola! His favorite shoes!

Pros
  • So easy to put on and take off! My son loves her. I'm not afraid to get them dirty because they are easy to wash.
Cons
  • These shoes may not be available in all sizes, styles, or locations, making it difficult to find the perfect fit for every child.

Order your child's normal shoe size.

I ordered a size up based on other people's feedback but they were too big so I'll go back and take his normal size. Limited Support: The slip-on design of these shoes may not provide sufficient support for the feet, leaving them vulnerable to injuries and discomfort.

Pros
  • perfect for my little guy's fat legs :)
Cons
  • Limited Support: The non-slip design of these shoes may not provide enough support for the foot, making it vulnerable to injury and discomfort.

Great shoes for kids!

I bought these for my 7 year old grandson. He wears them almost every day. Strong yet lightweight, they are easy to put on and take off. Before them, he had another pair, and they lasted about a year.

Pros
  • Great shoes. Works a little less than the more popular Native style.
Cons
  • Poor Breathability: These shoes may not provide adequate ventilation, resulting in excessive sweating and discomfort for the wearer.

Happy wet feet!

Easy to slip on, they run about 1 size larger than expected and will last for many seasons. High quality and will not wear out quickly. They are perfect for our very active 3 and 4 year old boys and make puddles and water a lot more fun for all of us (no socks or cloth shoes + water = happier feet!)

Pros
  • 100% Eva
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Warning! They shrink at high temperatures.

That's nice but just a warning to keep away from high temperatures. When you buy them they come with warnings to stay out of the sun. We were vacationing in Palm Springs, where it was very hot. We left them in a completely shaded house for several hours and they shrank so much that we couldn't get them back on my son's feet. So disappointing as we only bought them just before the trip. I took the warning to mean they would fade if left in the sun. I did not know, that they would not be wearable

Pros
  • The Miller fit is slightly wider and shorter (perfect for full sizes and full feet). Jefferson is slightly longer and narrower
Cons
  • I'll add later
