Disappointed: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

First I loved this product! I got my first 3 years ago. This new one, which is only 4 months old, wasn't as durable. After a few weeks of use, the cable started to bend and become stiff. After that, the cord began to break. Then the connector fell off and got stuck in my phone. My frustration is that I charge my phone once a day and then it rolls over. The cord has not been abused in any way and has not been worn well. For the money it was NOT worth it.

Great concept but good for computers and accessories

This is a great product if you are very careful not to let your phone or iPad fall off, for example from the bedside table when it is attached. Lamps break off immediately. This is the 2nd one I own. I got the first one from Nordstrom. The knotted ball was slightly larger than this one and the same thing happened. Thought maybe it was an accident. Don't waste money. I'm done.

Excellent for a few months then breaks

I really liked this product at first. The knot was useful and the cord was long and strong. However, this only lasted a few months. The tip has broken off. I have cheaper cables that last even longer. Waste. Based on other reviews it looks like this is becoming a regular issue. Update: I contacted customer service through their website and they sent a replacement within a day. Rating moved from 1 star to 3 stars for customer service. If this cable lasts longer, the rating will be updated…

great length! Best in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Not only does it look pretty (I bought the rose gold) but it's also very durable. I can plug it in and sit across the room with it. It also keeps charging while I'm using my iPad. Excellent quality. I haven't had it that long, but it looks sturdy and the cable doesn't fray at the connector.

Lightning cable versatility

I haven't had this product long enough to really appreciate its durability and strength, but it seems very good either way. My only issue right now is that my wireless keyboard connected to my iPad has a molded cable slot that is too narrow for an easy connection to charge the iPad. To make sure this was the problem, I took the iPad out of the keyboard frame and the connector fitted perfectly.

Better than most branded cables.

Excellent cable. Very long and durable. I love this brand of cord. I really don't think a weighted ball works as well as I thought it would. The cable shouldn't fall to the ground, but it still lands on the ground. Although it looks cute. :) It's also the only non-brand cable that hasn't snapped in months! I've had it for almost a year now, use it every day and it hasn't worn out or stopped working. In the future I will definitely buy Native Union lines, but maybe not the weighted ones.

Great while it lasted

Loved it at first, the length is perfect and the weighted bead allows you to find the end of the charger. The problem is that one day I left my phone on the charger and in the middle of the night I must have knocked the phone over and in the morning I found my phone on the floor (not unusual) and the metal charger but it came loose from the cord and got stuck in my phone's charging port.
