Much less expensive than buying the product in small containers. I've been using it for years and it seems to work well (difficult to judge objectively). This large size was a solid piece, not little cubes. I ordered it from another supplier and it came packaged in small cubes so maybe I just had to specify what I wanted.

I bought this to feed my hissing cockroaches from Madagascar. They seem to like it. A bucket will last a long time, especially if kept in the fridge. This product smells like fruit! I have ordered Total Bites several times as it is the most economical way to feed a large group of insects. I prefer the gel to be pre-cut, but it's easy enough to squash the gel with a cutlery before placing it in the roach feeder.

I bought this for my Dubia Roach arrival because Revain wasn't in my regular orange fluker cube. So far, cockroaches have eaten it. My only concern is that it came in a solid, bucket-shaped mass, not in handy dice that I could just pick up and throw. The picture shows after I sliced it with a butter knife. Received two days after ordering. I have to say this is simply the most amazing bug food on the market. This one pound bucket is filled to the brim.
