These khaki shorts were purchased for my son's kindergarten school uniform. He's shorter but I'd say the waist seems a bit big, although the shorts fit him everywhere. I would recommend the belt!

Very difficult. It actually fits, although it's a little tighter than I expected. The material was so stiff that my son couldn't unbuckle the belt on his own. This is not possible as he has to dress and undress himself. We returned them.

We love these shorts. My son has trouble buttoning and unbuttoning traditional buttons. He is also required to wear pants with belt loops to school (and also wear a belt). This is an absolutely perfect pair of shorts that will allow him to be independent at school while maintaining the integrity of the school uniform dress code.
