DO NOT BUY! Go to a discount store or large hardware store and buy a 3-foot landscaping material. This foil is a little thicker but you can wrap landscape fabric 2 times around it and it will do the same thing. I definitely spent $20 on it.

Flo-Well fabric is specifically designed to fit outside of a perforated sump pool. Then the pit was covered with rubble. Works well. The fabric is easy to sew (on a conventional sewing machine), it is dense and pliable. I will buy again.

Probably the same stuff you can get at a hardware store for a lot less money but I didn't want to mess around because I bought two of Flo-Wells and it I didn't want to "endorse" the stuff or make sure the fountains work properly.

I really laughed when I opened this product. There wasn't even enough material to cover a drain shaft. I saw a home camp selling this for $7 and figured I'd at least get enough to cover a good one for $20! I am ashamed of such an assumption. I went to my store and bought landscape fabrics. I bought the smallest amount ($18) for sale and it makes 10-15 drumwells. Spring.

I bought a cloth to cover the 12 inch NDS sink to keep dirt off the sink. It worked great. Last week I bought another fabric from Revain which said it had "good water permeability". After the fabric was set up and the stone placed, it took almost thirty minutes for a small amount of water to flow through. For this fabric, the same amount of water took about 5 seconds. For my money and the convenience of not having to go to a big store this is good value.

All you need is a pair of scissors to cut a hole around the drain line and tape to ensure the filter wrap is secure when you pebble the outside of the flo-well with the cloth wrap added. For the money I paid for it I expected something to be attached to the Flo-Well tank itself. On the contrary, it is nothing more than a dense turf fabric. There is no way to hold it to the tank. Before installation, you need to stick it on the tank with tape. After I put gravel around it, the tape may fail (no big deal). I should have just skipped that part and wrapped the tank in two layers of regular turf fabric (the kind you buy for French drains). It would be the same but ten times cheaper.
