Near Dear Pet Memorials Pawprint Review

It's beautiful, its iridescent colors and glossy paw prints look great. I bought this for my little girl Dixie who just passed away. She weighed 20 pounds and it matched her ashes and easily matched her collar and any other little dads you might want to place with your pet. The weight is nice, it's solid brass, not raku ceramic like I thought when I first saw the picture. As per other reviews, unscrewing the lid was a little tricky, but after some fiddling, all went well.

Lovely high quality urn. It's smooth and heavy in the hand, the delicate carvings ensure the lid never pops off accidentally, and the swirl of color is beautiful. Blue, green, and purple hues on the finish complement the lid's copper rim and paw prints on the top. Our little girl weighed just under 20 pounds and the medium size has enough room for her ashes and even a plaster paw cast. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

I lost my dog Dolly @ two years ago and her ashtray is in a beautifully carved wooden box. I recently lost my remaining dog Millie and I ordered this for her. She only weighed 9 pounds and a small cloth ash bag would fit in this jar but there wasn't room for the first dog like I had hoped. Beautifully finished, well made and packaged for protection during shipping. My only problem was when I unscrewed the lid after putting the ashes in. The large opening and the fine threads on the body and lid made it very easy to turn the lid. To avoid this, gently twist the cap in the opposite direction until you feel it align, then gently twist to engage the threads. If you meet resistance, unscrew the cap and start again. I bought a 40 inch trash can for my 9 lb cat. His ashes were returned in a plastic bag in a tin can, I just put the bag in the urn. There's plenty of room inside for more items and I could probably buy a smaller version, but this size looks good and I like how it feels in my hands. It's heavy and solid. The color outside is beautiful. I chose this urn because I wanted it to be in my living room and this colorful beauty didn't look as sad as the others. I like looking at it in the sunlight.

The product has a comfortable weight and is of good quality. The copper on the lid is bright but doesn't feel cheap, and the paw prints on the top are a nice design element that's not too noticeable. Oh my god! This urn is exactly what I was hoping for to place my baby Jasmine's ashes. Jasmine was a Miniature Schnauzer who weighed 16 pounds at the time of her death.
