This is a lightweight carbon fiber monopod. The aluminum cap that was used to attach the camera came off one day during normal use. Creepy! Yes I had the same as others. The thick end just fell out because it was badly glued. Metal is glued to metal. Seriously, who makes something this solid and then glues the essentials together?
