This is exactly what I needed for a shower I was building. It's not easy to install and I wouldn't recommend it if you're not familiar with this type of work. It appears to be very well made and easy to clean. It has a wonderful trap feature inside to keep hair or debris out of your pipes. I would buy this again.

I recently had a new bathroom fitted and we were about to do the floor when my deputy told me he had to do it smash my floor center drain. I knew there had to be a better way because I would have more money. After some research and googling I found the strain and it worked great.

I've seen them in kitchen and bathroom showrooms for a lot more money. My contractor said it was easy to install (I loved the leveling feet) and the drain looks amazing in my new shower. The filter basket is small, so if you have thick hair you'll probably need to clean it once a week, but it doesn't take more than a few minutes to pull out the screen and empty the filter basket. Very satisfied!

I bought this drain to convert a bath to a shower. We ripped out the tub and increased the shower footprint both in length and width, but left the tub drain intact. This left the drain in an awkward spot, closer to the edge of the shower tray rather than in the middle. Instead of a traditional round or square gutter and a steep drop in the corner, we opted for a modern linear gutter.
