but so beautiful. You can tell it's handmade and I love it.

The paper is light but so pretty. We can say it's handmade and I really like it. I use this as an art journal but I have to be careful not to bleed some of the ink. It's worth it for me because I love the fibers and feel of handmade paper. It's also stable and I can't love it more!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Clarity

love love love! suitable for paper

I love this magazine! I bought a 10x9 Sage and it was better than I could ever hope for! The pages aren't lined, which I like, and the paper is strong enough that my ballpoint pen won't cut or tear the paper, although a fine-tipped pen can cut the paper, but I haven't personally tested this and probably didn't win because I just prefer a pen with a rounded end. I love the fact that it's eco friendly, colored with plants and that someone hand made this book, I feel the love in it.

Pros
  • COLOR OF NATURE: The traditional art of vegetable-dyed binding with black walnut shells gives each magazine a unique finish.
Cons
  • Short instructions

Nice notebook, best for basic journaling/scrapbooking.

The cover and pages of this notebook are beautiful. The paper is thick but very soft and has a nice texture. I've tried a few different pens and they're all showing through a bit (fountain pens bled the most, while pencils had more ghosting). They're not that easy to write on, so I'd probably recommend them more for basic journaling or first paper laying on. I used the Modge Podge to stick on some small items and the paper held up well without getting too stiff. Overall very happy with the…

Pros
  • HANDMADE PAPER: Woodfree paper made from a Lokta shrub that grows at high altitude in the Himalayas.
Cons
  • Not sure

Wonderful sketchbook!

I love this book! I'm an artist and I use this as a sketchbook because I wanted to change traditional sketchbooks. First off, this book is beautifully made and I love that it's more sustainable than regular paper! Because each side is unique, a little thinner than the others. I noticed that wet ink pens would bleed, but I just switched to a ballpoint pen and it worked better. This is not a problem for thicker pages. I carry it EVERYWHERE with me so it started tearing at the spine but is still…

Pros
  • VINTAGE NOTEBOOK: 6x9 inch magazine with 96 pages of handmade Lokta paper (192 pages front and back) with laid paper, raw edges
Cons
  • Long delivery time
