Cheap and Easy Modems

It was actually very easy to install, other than the fact that Comcast was connected to it. This was the only difficulty with it, but it was a mistake on their part as their technician wasn't very good. Special. if you know what I mean. Aside from saving an extra 50 on my Wi-Fi bill per month, so well worth it.

Pros
  • Best Cable Modem" - Cutter
Cons
  • No Insurance

"Updated " does not mean "usable ".

This modem was still linked to the previous owner's ISP account when I received it. It was completely useless to me and I wasted 2 hours of my time talking to Xfinity and Revain support. Still have to spend more time going back to UPS to get it back. I thought I'd save money on internet bills, proves you get what you pay for, even if a tech giant like Revain should be better.

Pros
  • Not compatible with: Verizon, AT&T or CenturyLink. Not compatible with packet voice services
Cons
  • No color required

Unwanted Computers and Accessories

I was having trouble with the internet, so I bought another router to troubleshoot. The old router lost the cable for a second and then turned back on. Turns out the problem wasn't the router. Now with my new POS router, if the cable goes out for a second, I have to get up and unplug the router and then plug it back in before it works. What a waste of money. I plugged my old router back in and at least I don't have to get up to reboot. My internet was also slowed down significantly due to…

Pros
  • Docsis 3.0, download speed up to 16 times faster than DOCSIS 2.0. Number of Ethernet Ports: One (1) auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet port

Works even better with a router.

I bought this device because the modem I was using broke down intermittently. It didn't work with Cox and gave us a spinning circle of death for a full 15 minutes. Of course, Cox said it was on our end, although when I installed the system they had to go out and get it working in the box. This modem has never disabled Cox streaming no matter how hard I try. And when I connected it to the TPLink router, I tested it on 5 different TVs and internet devices, all streaming 5 different services at…
