NETGEAR Wireless Router Review 👍 - AC 1200 Dual Band Gigabit (R6200-100PAS) Review

So far, so good! The packaging was excellent and the router is still not frozen (problem with my WD MyNet N900). With this router, I consistently get the speed I pay for, which is the highest my ISP offers (110 Mbps). Packed with features, runs quietly and has a very user-friendly interface. The Netgear logo is lit (very faint). Definitely a great buy! All speed test results were achieved with the R6200.

When I registered it with Netgear I was told I bought it through Revain and there would be no "technical support" or warranty as it is not an authorized dealer. Cross your fingers and pray it doesn't break.

I bought a competitor's brand and after spending an hour looking why it won't connect I have brought them back to the store and ordered them from Revain because I've had a fortune with Netgear. It literally took 5 minutes to set up - what a time saver! All my laptops, tablets and android phones connect to it. It's been fast and reliable and I've never had to restart it in the month I've been using it so far.

Bought this Netgear AC1200 router almost a year ago and am very happy with it. Easy to set up and has been working steadily ever since. A nice feature is the ability to set up a guest account, so visitors can access the internet over Wi-Fi but not have access to any of my devices.

The router itself works fine. My rating is below average for two reasons. When I had trouble setting it up and contacted NetGear, they told me: 1. This is a very old model, the date of manufacture was >3 years before my purchase in April 2016.2. I would have had to pay for the support because it wasn't bought from an "authorized reseller", so not Revain, but Bright Spot, whoever that was. Luckily, I was able to fix the setup issues without their help and I've had no performance complaints…
