Terrible quality, the laces unravel every day no matter how tight they are double knotted. The suede looks worn. I was hoping these would be good uniform shoes because all options are grandpa's new leather balances or these. learned many lessons. These shoes looked terrible after a few months. Now I'm buying a new pair. waste of money!

Too bad - in a week a shoe fell apart completely. I don't know if it was bad quality to begin with or if I received the shoes from a faulty batch - but I paid $45 for a kid's shoe and was very upset that it fell apart.

I bought them for my son. They look great but are very poorly made. After a few wears, the upper material came off the sole. I had to throw them away as they were beyond repair in October! Not worth the money.

My son is 9 years old and we bought it for Christmas. We've only had them for a month and they have a hole where the sole meets the fabric. Not the best quality and I'm trying to return it due to a manufacturing defect

It reminds me of the New Balance shoes that were popular when I was in high school (about 15 years ago). I like that the profile is not too high. I also love that these are tennis shoes that don't look too sporty and can therefore be worn casually with nice pants and polo shirts. I recommend!

These shoes are wonderful! They fit my daughter perfectly, she says they are comfortable and they look amazing! I want them in my size!

This is my grandson's second pair of shoes, exactly the same. Very well made and easy to keep clean. The toe of these New Balances is nice and roomy. He attaches great importance to how his shoes should fit. He is 7 years old. and this is how it all starts :)

Great shoes for kids and adults. The only difference is that this kid version has a slightly lower heel/toe than the adult version.

With an active kid, these shoes were great! There were no complaints of discomfort beyond the normal break time. They were easy to wash and lasted well beyond the school year. The outsole held up well to typical boy games, as did the fabric. Dirt? Simply remove the lining, wash in cold water and let air dry.

These shoes last a long time, look good and offer a comfortable fit to everyone who wears them. They're the perfect weight to weight ratio and they're really comfortable on the inside and overall they fit perfectly and offer great support. They are worth the price because they last longer than cheaper shoes so they get a really big 4 stars from me.

I bought these shoes for my 9 year old son for school. After 6 weeks of normal wear, the bond between the sole and fabric on the shoes broke rendering them unusable and unwearable. Since I bought them over 30 days ago, the Walmart seller won't refund my money.

My son has to wear ALL black shoes as part of his uniform and he wears them and doesn't complain. So I'm inclined to think that NB lived up to its name.

Bought them for school shoes. They recovered and looked good, my son wore them to school every day for a month and now the front of the shoe is completely detached. It's not like he wore them down and put a hole in them, but they fell apart! I do not recommend!

The toe was a bit tight. I wear a women's size 8 and boys' size 7, which usually fit the room, but this size doesn't fit that well. I still like the shoes because they're cute, but I don't wear them, especially long, because the toe box is a little tight. I can only give them to my daughter.

This shoe is best suited for children who do not have long, narrow feet. New Balance suited my athletic daughter better than any other brand. Great shoes! Highly recommended.

I was looking for dark blue sneakers. I can wear children's shoes even though I'm an adult! LOL So if I have an opportunity to save money on kids' shoes, I'll take it

These shoes are amazing. In addition to the reliable New Balance brand value, they even look cool; perfect for kids. My kids say they feel comfortable and confident that they can run faster now. If you look at the most popular shoe brands, they are always in the top 5, often also in the top 3. The running world touts New Balance as the ultimate stability shoe, which, along with comfort, is very important to me when choosing shoes for my kids .

My son, who has thick and wide legs, rocked them for a year or two. (I like the new balance because my feet are big and wide too. And the lacrosse boots are great.)

My 9 year old is very particular about the size of his shoes. He has wide, flat feet. I ordered them a size up because he doesn't like his legs getting pinched. It's been almost a year now and this shoe is still his favorite for comfort, width and arch support. Better still, they look good with a little wear. The more I wash them, the better they look. I can't believe how good these shoes are! My only complaint is having to change the laces.
