Great for gaming. to my rating.

I play table tennis at the club in the gym, these shoes are for regular tennis which is not bad but the footwork is similar but faster in table tennis. The hall floor is not always clean and people slip while playing. Unlike other racquets that have a professional soft surface. I played with these shoes for a while and was happy with the results. Great traction! Even on floors that are anything but perfect, the grip is above average! The insole is good, good enough not to have to buy an…

Pros
  • They're light, a bit tight, but that's ok as they get lost after a while. Good for Pickleball! Love her.
Cons
  • Shoes can be too heavy for some players, leading to fatigue during long games.

Great shoes. good value

This shoe is comfortable and gives me good support* and cushioning. I play a lot of pickleball (the next olympic sport) and these are great shoes for the court. I often buy New Balance and have never been disappointed.

Pros
  • New Balance is my favorite shoe for the right fit, support and durability.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for players with plantar fasciitis or other foot conditions.

Initial tight fit in my review.

My other New Balance 2e's fit perfectly out of the box. The ones I use for cucumber balls were very snug out of the box but stretched to a comfortable fit after wearing them on the courts for a few days.

Pros
  • Convenience, ease and price
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for players who prefer a more breathable material such as mesh.

Very satisfied in my rating

I have very wide feet so finding comfortable shoes is extremely difficult. Trying to find quad shoes makes it even harder. You are perfect; fit great and work well

Pros
  • The shoes fit well and are comfortable for playing pickelball.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for players who prefer a wider toe.

So far so good: my rating

I wanted a very wide pair of tennis shoes. They are inexpensive. They look (doesn't matter) and feel good (doesn't matter). I play 2-3 times a week. I will update the review how long they last.

Pros
  • I find it a bit small but I like the ease of the fit
Cons
  • 11.5 were too small in length. Good for width.

Very good shoes in my opinion

I've used these shoes a few times to play pickleball. They are comfortable and appear to be durable despite the shoes being relatively new.

Pros
  • Fit perfectly and feel really good
Cons
  • The shoe lacks adequate ankle support, making it unsuitable for players with ankle problems.

Practical: my rating

This shoe is very comfortable to wear. The sole of the shoe could be more durable. It wears out pretty quickly on hard courts.

Pros
  • The company repaired my return. The shoes run small, so I had to buy half a size bigger.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide adequate traction for players on softer, wetter playing surfaces.

Excellent shoes in my review

Bought these from my son. He plays tennis 2-3 times a week and they are fine. He is 10 years old. He has wide feet and they fit him perfectly.

Pros
  • So far so good, comfortable and easy to wear for a long hour, durable and strong.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for players with high arches as they lack proper arch support.

Used for basketball

Super happy with it. I'm a decent indoor basketball player and I'm picky about my shoes. Most basketball shoes feel bulky and heavy to me. They're really low, light and minimalist. Also a great stop. I know they are for tennis etc but I purposely chose them for basketball and I'm glad I did.

Pros
  • Works little. Return size 7 for 8.5. I'll let you know.
Cons
  • on the small side, not wide enough to be xx wide.

Too small and too narrow in the toe area

As others have said, this shoe is at least half a size smaller than other New Balance models. And the sock box is very narrow even in the wide size I ordered.

Pros
  • The New Balance 696 V4 men's hard court tennis shoe offers exceptional comfort and stability on hard courts, making it a great choice for regular tennis players.
Cons
  • The shoe design may be too narrow for players with wider feet, causing discomfort.

Bad rating size

My feet definitely don't even fit in size. One is 12 and the other almost 13. They are both wide. I can usually get away with a size 12 on most sneakers, but figured I'd go for ultimate comfort and expand this. I tried the 12s and they only fit my small foot but barely. My big foot was rubbing the fronts very hard. So I chose 12.5, which I don't normally do, but I did it anyway, honestly I didn't feel much of a difference. I've heard the ASICS are too tight but took a pair anyway just to see…

Pros
  • How!
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for players who require additional heel padding.

Great for fencing - my new review

I bought these for my 11 year old son to use exclusively for saber fencing after reading that indoor tennis and volleyball shoes are a good alternative to expensive fencing shoes. He loves them and believes they help him improve his footwork. His trainer also agreed!

Pros
  • Worth the money, nice and light
Cons
  • The shoe price may be too high for some consumers

Details: my rating

The product was almost as advertised. Shown is a solid blue 'N' for sale, however I received a pair with blue 'N' trim. Not tragic, I just think detail and communication is key.

Pros
  • The insoles need to be replaced with memory foam. The boot material is a bit stiff, but if anything comes close to my old 896, I'm fine.
Cons
  • Shoe size can vary, making it difficult to purchase the correct size.

This item was NOT new.

These shoes have been worn at least once, possibly several times, and are NOT new. Cat/dog hair on the inside of the shoe and dirt stains on the outside.

Pros
  • Great color, comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Shoes may not be appropriate for players who require a snugger or more secure fit.

The 4E looked more like a 2E and the inseam was HUGE.

It was too small for the full width (I have several other NB 4E shoes so I know). The huge and poorly placed inseam is right where the bump on the thumb should be.

Pros
  • My son loves these tennis shoes NB
Cons
  • The shoe design can be dated and unappealing to some buyers.

These shoes are cheap compared to the NB 623s I currently wear for Pickleball. The upper is made of soft synthetic material and has a small area above the toes with slits for ventilation. I sweat a lot and I'm sure the shoes will collect sweat in a thin insole. I bought on ebay but it was a third party sale so it cost me $12.60 to return. Reviews exaggerate the quality of these sneakers. I will no longer buy from a third party on ebay due to the cost of returning shoes. Reasons for return: 1)…

Pros
  • pickleball clothing Low weight, comfortable width
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for players who prefer a more minimalist design.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Narrow/narrow for my rating.

I've always been a fan of the NB as the roomy fit has always suited my foot, but these shoes are definitely narrower than the more expensive tennis shoes NB makes. You really have to be consistent.

Pros
  • Great wide comfortable shoe that is great for pickleball
Cons
  • Shoes lack adequate ventilation, making feet sweaty and uncomfortable.

Just doesn't hold up / poorly made

After about 4-5 weeks of use the insole completely detached from the sole/rest of the shoe. So if you try to play or use them and stop, they curl up in the shoe like an accordion. 4 weeks is just unacceptable for a shoe to fail, especially for something as simple as not gluing/assembling properly. I would not buy this line

Pros
  • I like the outstanding factor but it's a little cramped and small
Cons
  • I found the same shoes at a lower price

Look and sit great. Has a lateral stabilizer.

I have hit and miss with shoes bought online. Mainly because they are too small. So I doubt buying it. But it had it at 10 so I did it. It's in the W column. I haven't used it on the court yet, but I know it will work well.

Pros
  • Comfort and light weight
Cons
  • The shoes looked nice and fitting as expected, but after 1 week the shoes fall apart when sewn together.

I still love New Balance.

Without the slightest exaggeration, I have to admit that these shoes are pretty terrible. They are very wide in the toe area. As a sports shoe for tennis, I consider them completely unsuitable, together with the low weight of the shoe. They couldn't really lock my foot and ankle on lateral movements on the court. I went out with them once for about 5 minutes and honestly felt like I was going to hurt myself. I immediately went home to change my shoes. As a guy who owns many pairs of New Balance

Pros
  • Very stable and will be very durable. My first pair of proper tennis shoes and I'm happy with them so far.
Cons
  • Shoes may not be suitable for players who prefer a more minimalist outsole design.
