🏌️ New Balance Men's NBG2001 Golf Shoe - Ultimate Performance meets Style Review

I've always loved New Balance products but this one was too small for me. If a wider width were available I would just swap them out.

However, I usually wear shoes 11-11 1/2. I previously had the same pair of 11 1/2 NBG2001 golf shoes that were too small. I had to get them at 12 to fit them. When I found out that these shoes run small I ordered a size up and got what I expected. Hope that makes sense!

Comfortable to wear for 18 holes but I got a bad blister on the back of my heel after 18 holes. The stitching and lack of padding on the heel contributed to the chafing that caused the severe blistering. Also remember that replacement spikes for these are only available from New Balance. The rest of the shoes are ok.

I use this shoe for walking or riding and also replace the stock insoles with NB Flat Foot arch support and they really help. Ideal for hiking or horseback riding. The "One Lock" spikes they have have been discontinued but are now available through NB directly on their website. This is the second pair I have bought and I plan on keeping one pair at home and the other at home in Florida.

I love these shoes and as a long time New Balance fan I expected the same fit. However, the toe box of these shoes is surprisingly narrow in contrast to running shoes or other New Balance shoes in the same size. As I have a narrow foot this shouldn't be a problem but I get numbness and burning in my smaller toes in these shoes, especially after walking in them for a while. These are great shoes though, so I'll try them again after stretching them.
