New Balance Unisex Running Metallic Men's Shoes: Superior Style meets Functionality Review

After 3 months, holes appeared in the sides of each shoe in my son's shoes and the Velcro came loose. Several other reviewers had the same issues. My older daughter received the same style same day and she has the same lace pattern (velcro is still intact).

These shoes fit my son perfectly. Style, color and easy to put on and take off. They have good foot support. The rather thick sole is the only small issue that makes the shoe seem big. The comfort and support make it a faster runner with more stable footing than the worn out shoes we've replaced. We bought several pairs of red shoes because my son only wants that color. I bought them thinking they would hold up better than most but they fell apart after only three months. My ten year old struggles with shoes, but still.

This is the only shoe that fits my son's wide feet. But he's been wearing them less than two weeks and they're already falling apart.

I liked the look of the shoes. However, the blue material on the front of the shoe is starting to peel off after a week of wear.

They fit great but creak A LOT. My son says he can wear them if he loses another pair and doesn't have time to get ready, but he's in high school and doesn't want to risk it. He hasn't worn them yet, so I can't confirm.

These are great looking shoes, we fell apart twice! I returned the first pair thinking it was coincidence but the second pair was even worse. I bought NB specifically as I expected the shoes to last and was disappointed!

I just bought these shoes. Delivered on Wednesday and it was on Friday. The floor is already falling apart. Please replace.

I bought these for my grandson and he loves them. They are very stylish and comfortable. I've been buying him New Balance for a few years now. I originally bought these because they are one of the few brands that have many styles that come in wide and extra wide. I will continue to buy these wonderful shoes.

We bought these shoes about 5 months ago. After three months of daily wear, the Velcro came loose. After four months of daily wear, holes appeared and the seams on the fingers came undone. Five months later we are now looking for new shoes. My son liked these shoes because they were comfortable and had "cool colors" but we were disappointed with how quickly they fell apart. We will no longer consider this style (or New Balance).

My son has been wearing them for about 2 weeks and he loves them. They are comfortable and true to size. He complained that they were a bit tight the first day he wore them, but I think he just had to break them in. I will buy a second pair.

I bought these to replace an identical pair that my son had outgrown. He loves them and they are true to size. The previous couple held up really well so I hope they did too!

My son loves theses. They are comfortable and durable. He also likes that he can skip tying his shoelaces (which he absolutely can) and be able to quickly put them on and head out the door.

I am disappointed in the quality of this shoe. The mesh fabric above the ball of the foot tore on both shoes and the Velcro layers came loose in the second week. This shoe was not worth buying.

My son was so excited to get these and he only wears them to school. It's only been 3 weeks and the straps on one of them have completely snapped, I thought for the price they would last a little longer.

I am very disappointed in these sneakers - the velcro strap fell off after a month of daily wear. Now I have to replace my son's shoes which is very frustrating as we usually buy good quality shoes that will last until he outgrows them. Although we have bought other New Balance shoes in the past and have been satisfied with the quality, I'm not sure we will buy New Balance shoes again after this experience.
