Bought for a friend who was looking for an old fashioned meat fork. she loved it. Perfect size with not too long teeth, comfortable wooden handle. Excellent purchase.

This is a fork. It really is. It picks up items when you put it in items. I tried to have soup with him but he failed that test. When I put it down it just lay there and didn't move, but I guess that's the nature of the fork. Acceptable.

They are exactly as described and as they look in the picture. So read the specs carefully. For every day, for a small family, they are great. However, I find them a bit short and flimsy at barbecues or picnics. The steaks will become heavy after a stack has been turned over after some time. I wear protective gloves.

I bought this fork specifically to use with my cast iron. I needed something that wouldn't touch my hand that close to sizzling and squirting bacon/sausage etc. It does exactly what I need. Very high quality construction, feels solid and balanced and I'm sure it will last a lifetime.

It's surprisingly hard to find plugs like this in stores these days. Got 2 for a very low price and have used them several times. Do yourself a favor and have them ready for both the grill and the oven. Nothing special, just does its job. I put a coat of oil on the handle to give the wood a little protection from washing and I recommend hand washing rather than the dishwasher to keep the wood looking good.
