I only wanted the end with the cap but you can cut it in 2 and get both ends. Feels good and I like the durability of the rubber coating. Coverage is a must if you live in lake effect areas or in areas with heavy snowfall.

My friend helped me install some trailer accessories and told me to get this trailer plug, which I did. The plug made all the work that much easier as you just plug it into your existing plug and all your cables are pre-wired for easy connection to your lighting accessories. The affordable price makes trailer wiring much easier and less time consuming.

Love the fact that the cord is a better quality than most boxed trailer lights. Hopefully it will last longer than the last Menards I bought. The only thing that confuses is that the ground wire is too short. I drive an F250 and the cable doesn't fit all trailers without an extension. I mean, make a goddamn ground wire about 8 feet long so you can mount it in the most optimal spot on the trailer.

My twenty year old hitch plug was badly rusted and after sanding it again I thought it was time to replace it. I saw almost the same thing at an auto parts store but this one had a truck/socket end cap for the plug. Too bad they don't provide a cap for the trailer/plug end of the plug when not in use. I'm thinking of using an old socket to keep the trailer plug/terminal connector clean.

Connector appears to be of good quality. The cover prevents water from entering the power plug attached to the vehicle. I would like to see the cover in another section to protect these connectors from the elements during trailering. The connector wire is very short and you will need to cut it in half so both ends have the same number of wires (16 inches for each connector). It hasn't affected my setup as I have extra wires on both the trailer and the car.
