So the day went on.

later review. The digitizer is faulty. It will sometimes still activate if you don't touch it. Not something you want to go through after spending an hour meticulously installing all the micro components. Now I have to find another replacement.

The home button works

Everything about this screen is exceptional! The only downside is that it is listed as compatible with the iPad Air 2 and I checked the model number. The home button layout wasn't compatible and I had to resort to a few tricks to get it working.

Cheapest and best way to fix a broken iPad

I was trying to fix my granddaughter's iPad and it cost over $100 to fix. So I took a chance and bought this kit, watched the youtube video and followed the step by step guide and it works. I am very satisfied with this product.

You deserve to know better how good a piece is.

Poor quality. I'm so disappointed because part of the cable is so small it doesn't fit the screen but it's ugly. I want to contact this seller, but the Amazon system doesn't add a message function. Stupid system, like less points for not having enough useful information. It sucks. amazon app not showing enough

Very cheaply made because you can't buy it, the glass breaks very easily

Made of very thin glass or plastic. When I fitted it into the case and pressed on the edges of the glued on adhesive, the screen cracked. When I tried to remove the once-brand-new screen with a razor blade and spacers, the screen cracked wherever I tried to pry it open. The original screen was made much better and never broke when attempting to remove it.
