    Possibly used?: Sports water bottles

    I ordered 2 at a time. One came sealed and covered, the other didn't. I'm confused. one was used? They appear to be of good quality but I'm not sure the unsealed version is safe to use.

    Now they seem to be thicker.

    5 of those ten gallons or more busted, one three gallons. Now they seem to be more durable. Not cheap but way better than bottled water, you just have to live close to whole foods that have a water machine.

    Great bottle for sports and outdoor supplies

    I have a pair of 53mm snap on bottles (other brands) and a couple of these 48mm screw top bottles. Both are great. The latch on the top cap that I bought for the 53mm doesn't leak when stored on the side (some do) but the convenience of those 48mm bolts on the top is really nice and the bottles are of good quality.

    DO NOT BUY Good for Sport Water Bottles

    Bought 2 of these bottles, they seemed a little flimsy but didn't bother me. The bottles have microscopic cracks on the sides that only leak when placed in the fridge. At first I thought it was cooler, but upon closer inspection it turned out to be bottles. Very disappointed as the bottles are more expensive compared to others from the water shop.

    Good strong quality.

    Good quality, firm to the touch, not brittle. It tolerates transportation in the car when refueling. All one piece including the handle as advertised. Supplied with white screw cap and factory shrink wrapped. The main label clearly states "BPA-free". The handle is comfortable and easy to service when lifted up for gravity chillers (for that spooky maneuver everyone dreads!)

    Beware of recent quality issues

    We bought several of these bottles last year and have been very happy with them so we keep buying them even though they are more expensive than other brands. The two we bought within the last 5 months ripped after filling with no apparent damage. They weren't reset or anything like that. The quality of the product has definitely deteriorated and we will not buy it again because of this.

    Looks good; well packed; Why did they put a huge advertisement on the site?

    I think it would make a nice 5 gallon pitcher. Would give it 5 stars but damn they put a big ad on it. It's in almost every photo. I assumed the large print area is a label that can be removed. No, it's color. If I couldn't get it off with some rubbing alcohol and a rag I would return it. I paid for it - I don't want to advertise the pitcher at home. rubbing alcohol removes it; hope this helps someone.

    Like others I decided to take a chance even after reading the negative reviews here. And like others, I am now writing this review myself in hopes of warning others. We ordered two mugs. One, as expected, no problems at all. After using the second one for the first time, we found that it had a misaligned seam on the neck of the jug that leaked when inverted. a pot or other dispenser with a neck. Our dispenser is a screw-on nozzle, which is a big problem. If they were 1/5 the price a 50% reject…
