🔌 NexusLink G.hn Powerline Ethernet Adapter, 1200Mbps, Gigabit Port, Power Saving, Home Network Expander with Stable Ethernet Connection, Dual Units (GPL-1200) Review

When my printer lost its Wi-Fi capability, I bought this to bring it back online. My router already has G.hn capabilities, so all I needed was an adapter. I had never tried using G.hn before so I was skeptical. However, it worked like a charm. Installation and configuration took about 10 minutes. I put it downstairs, next to the printer, and got 50Mbps over my house wiring. Cute! I connected the printer with a cable and network printing resumed immediately.

This is the third purchase. The starter kit of two was easy to install and helped extend the Ethernet network at the weak point of Wi-Fi. Working from home during the pandemic and holding a large number of meetings over Zoom™ required a strong and reliable Ethernet connection, which was not the case with Wi-Fi. I really wanted this product to work because I believe in powerline adapters. But no matter what I tried, no matter how much research I did, I just couldn't get this third adapter to talk to the two I already have. sucks.

For those who have never used it, Powerline is an easy to use and set up method of extending and adding an Ethernet cable. Just plug one into an outlet near your router, connect the router's output to a power line, and you're good to go. I saw that there were low stars in another review but decided to give it a shot as I was intrigued by powerline technology and it was a bit unfair was because the product description says you need 2 devices makes sense. Setup was super easy, just plug it in and after a few minutes of setup it helped connect the wifi to our hideout where my friend plays video games. Now I can watch Netflix and not have to worry about their Halo game being played or my show falling behind.

This is funny! This item comes with only ONE adapter! You must have TWO to do anything! Stupid ! Return and receive the correct product that comes with TWO adapters!
