New spark plug, some carb cleaner, some starting fluid, spark arrestor cleaned and now my Toro trimmer starts and runs and the power is much higher.

I had trouble starting the mower until I switched to an NGK fork. It's a Honda and it started on the first pull until the spark plug wore out. Just replace the spark plug after every season and don't fight it. Recommended for Honda mower users who want to start the first time every time.

Got this for my Stihil 029. In December the old plug finally broke and I fitted a lawnmower plug to make ends meet with a haircut that day. Worked well by the way, but lost some power at the top end. If I put the right spark plug in, it works just as well as it did a few years ago when the Bosch that was there was new.

OEM replacement part for Stihl FS 45 trimmer. There was very little slack in the wire and I couldn't move the connector cap far enough to replace the connector so I had to cut off most of the plastic protection to get to it with the socket. If you have a longer cord and/or thin-walled outlets, you may be able to avoid shortening the protector. Hope that helps.

I bought this spark plug for my Poulan P4018 chainsaw (2-stroke engine, 40cc) on the spark plug itself, which you unscrew like any standard spark plug. The spark plug fits snugly on both threads and, open electric, the cap retracts fully with no problems (well, no more than a stock spark plug. You'll have to fiddle with the cap around the grip and brake.
