Tune your engine with these plugs

I used these during a 2014 Kia Forte 100K service interval and noticed an immediate improvement in gas mileage and throttle response. NGK says their threads use a trivalent metal that doesn't require an anti-seize compound and acts as a release agent. The OEM spark plugs in my car were NGK and came out with no problems and clean threads so I'm sure. All the plugs had the same gap and the threaded end had a protective cardboard cylinder to protect the electrodes during transport.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • Minor issues

Works well in 2013 Veloster Turbo

Although this plug is listed for use in a 2014-2017 Hyundai Veloster Turbo (for me), it works 1 degree much better than the hotter version of this plug . Do yourself a favor and get this, although Revain points out that it won't fit your 2013 Veloster Turbo and tries to direct you to a different plug. Hyundai itself has gone for the 2014 model, which has pretty much the same engine and specs, as the engine is already getting pretty hot you won't have any problems, your car will love it instead.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • unreliable

Easy to install and great price.

My daughter's 2015 Hyundai Sonata has clocked 77,000 miles and she complained of hesitation when pressing the gas pedal. The car's owner's manual says the spark plugs are good for 105,000 miles, but why not replace them when engine performance suffers. These forks were great value and only took 20 minutes to install. She says there was an immediate improvement that led to no more hesitation. Should also increase fuel economy as these spark plugs are an improvement over the original spark plugs.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Either a fake or the wrong plug.

If you like the check engine light, misfiring, limp home mode and no four wheel drive, this is for you! Bought these for my 13 acura tl (3.7 awd). When I pulled out the old ones and looked at them side by side I noticed they were maybe 1/16th shorter. I was sort of deleted and realized that since the # part matched, it was probably just updated. Changed, started the car, drove a quarter, no problems. Woke up in the morning and it was a bit cold, hopped in the car to drive to work and got the…

2017 SPORTAGE EX for Spark Plugs

THESE PLUGS WERE INSTALLED ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. THEY WERE BRAND NEW, NOT FAKE AND INSTALLED WITHOUT SHORT. THE ODOMETER READING OF THE SPORTAGE WAS ALREADY EXCEEDING THE OFFICIALLY DECLUDED MPG. BEFORE CHANGING SPARK PLUGS AND OR OIL ON A VEHICLE THAT APPROX. 62,000 MILES ON THE HIGHWAY WAS. ALABAMA TRIP ODOMETER OVER 42=43 MPG. IF THE NEW CITY/HWY FORKS ARE INSTALLED, THIS VEHICLE MUST BE 28/30 MAX. THE NEXT DAY, CITY/AUTHWAY TOGETHER WAS OVER 32 MPG AND HIGHER, ON THE SAME ROUTE I TAKE EVERY…

NGK Spark Plug - Spark Plugs and Wires

Spark plugs were needed because it was time to change them and I had to drive through a lot of flooding due to heavy flooding. I recommend changing the spark plugs after a severe flood. A heavy flood puts a lot of strain on engine parts. When removing the old spark plugs, the very prominent burned ring was easy to see. So I knew they had reworked. NKG has always been a well-known auto parts brand, which is why I chose them. Replacing spark plugs is easy for most, and most find it easier than…
