Noisy. how loud is that But that is

Normally niceyrig decent equipment. This isn't one of them. The latch is completely loose and rattles violently even when closed, making it impossible to use on set. how to take care of a damn bell. Returned.

Comfortable and durable design.

This really simplifies what used to be a headache every time I adjusted my rig. My camera monitor had a hot shoe that was very difficult to put on. Attaching to this plate and using it on my cage's nato rail saves me so much time and gives me peace of mind that it's secure and won't suddenly fall off my camera when I'm panning or using the slider.

Needs more attention to detail

I bought this and then switched to the SmallRig version. Despite the proximity, the small setup is better made, better processed and performs slightly better. Yes it's double the price but for me it's worth it. The small installation draws attention to small details like 2 tiny screws covering the adjustment space. A good rig will stick out just a little bit, just enough so that the clamp isn't flush. The finish of a good setup is not as perfect as that of a small one. Both rattle about theโ€ฆ

Well built, not as big as SmallRig rails.

This is really well done. I use it to slide the battery plate from the camera frame onto the SmallRig rail that is on the gimbal, but the two rails are not the same size. This one is a lot smaller so I had to put some tape on it to keep the battery plate from sliding on it. However, the adjustable size helps mitigate some of the inconveniences. If you're buying it to use with other brand leaders, be prepared for a less than ideal solution. . I only rate it so poorly because of itsโ€ฆ

Not for SmallRig Cage - Requires different thickness/pressure setting

This is GREAT for the price unless you plan to use it with SmallRig cages with built in nato back and forth to use leads. The included 7cm nato rail requires LESS pressure on the locking button as it is slightly thinner than the built in rail (I'm talking millimeters here) found in SmallRig cages. This means you have to adjust the pressure by disassembling the block. It DOESN'T matter if you don't plan to use the supplied guide along with the SmallRig cage as you only need to set the correctโ€ฆ

  • There are cons

This NATO rail and clamp set will not fit other NATO rails and clamps. This rail has a width of 20.5 mm. My other rails are 20.8mm wide. You can adapt this clip to other rails by disassembling the locking lever and loosening the clip's shaft. The screws holding the plate that secures the locking lever are too high above the surface you would mount the camera or accessory on. As a result, the mounting surface is not level. The locking lever is always loose and rattles. This can be a problem forโ€ฆ

Best Value Nato Clamp and Rail

If you take the time to play around with the nato clamp, this is by far the best value sliding nato clamp Relationship. SmallRig is almost twice the size. I mainly use a variety of SmallRig NATO rails and what is annoying is that they are not all the same width and this NATO clamp needs to be adjusted to work with the existing rails I use. Loosen the two bolts and adjust the settings. And while it's open, take a small piece of tape and stick the bolt onto the sprocket. You don't need much; just
