This would be a great product if it wasn't for the little metal lock on the bottom. Firstly, it does not match the whole parts of the weevil zhiyun s.1. When you put on the Jiyoon, the handle will shift slightly to the right or left depending on what you put it in.2. When you try to use the Zhiyun quick release mechanism, it won't sit flush and skewed due to the metal lock that interferes.3. I will keep this item but I need to sand down the metal part to make it work properly!

The pen feels solid and looks like a premium product. I loved the extra attachment points to make my weevil more versatile. Unfortunately, there is a locating pin on the handle that doesn't line up with the slots on the weevil. You either have to force it to stress the plastic or jam the pin and deal with a crooked grip. So close but still needs work :/

Heavy Duty Handle. Well constructed. The only problem I have is not the product's fault, it's my own use. I was planning to use it with a Zhiyun Transmount quick release, but since the grip has a small metal burr next to the threads to prevent the grip from slipping, it is not compatible with the quick release. It was very nice and strong but there was a non-working loaded locking pin sticking out at the bottom which scratched my gimbal and prevented it from securing properly to the gimbal. When it snapped into the holes in the gimbal attachment mechanism, it was cocked from the center. Had it been spring loaded or absent I might have given this gimble a higher rating.

I really don't see the point in a tiny metal lock that has to go into holes when screwing into the top section of the bracket. Pretty bad idea considering that even fitting the quick release plate offered with this stabilizer will cause the grip to tilt due to the detail. You can't even put it down if you want to. instead it should be on a feather.
